Vino & Vinyasa

Join us outdoors for an hour of yoga and an optional wine tasting afterwards. Class will be lead by a local instructor from YogaONE Santa Rosa. After your restorative yoga class is finished, stay and experience a glass of wine. Take in the sights and sounds of our vineyards, valley oak trees, maples, hydrangeas, boxwoods, and fig trees with views of the mountain vistas in the distance. Enjoy the essence of Sonoma County, Friday evenings. All ages and levels are welcome to join us! Remember that Vino & Vinyasa Yoga is not BYOM (bring your own mat!)

Relax, have fun and get your craft on while you sip a glass of wine! Join us to get your craft on with our popular “Days of Summer” Centerpiece Class! Kim from Wild Vine Designs and the Bricoleur Vineyards team will provide all the supplies and instruction you need to make a floral masterpiece and you provide the creativity (we can help with this too if needed!). A complimentary glass of wine and snacks will be served! At the end of the class you will take home your very “Days of Summer” Centerpiece! “Kathryn Hall” Harvest Celebration

Flamenco Nights at Carr Winery with Tony Ybarra and Dancers

Fiesta is here! Join us tonight at Carr Winery with live flamenco music by the Tony Ybarra duo, featuring a live flamenco dancer. Enjoy this one of a kind entertainment while you sip your favorite Carr wines alongside delicious, handcrafted empanadas from Buena Onda. Born in Santa Barbara, California, Anthony L. Ybarra has had the guitar in his hands all his life. His father introduced to him Latin and jazz music at an early age and soon his musical palette broadened to encompass classical and flamenco. He also was a multi-instrumentalist and performed in rock, pop, and Liturgical settings. His diverse musical background proved essential in the success of Ybarra Music. His understanding of these diverse styles has led him craft out his own sound that is melodic, romantic, intimate, rhythmic, and sophisticated. Free admission, 21+.

Lodi Grape Festival

For 82 years the people in San Joaquin County have been gathering to celebrate the grape harvest at the annual Lodi Grape Festival. What started out as a small food festival in downtown Lodi has now evolved into a four day event filled with great entertainment, food, wine tasting, vendors, grape and commodity murals, competitive exhibits, carnival, grape displays and so much more!

Mushroom Day at Dutton-Goldfield

Mushrooms and pinot go together like peas and carrots. We love pairing DG pinot noir with mushroom recipes, especially the unique varieties cultivated by our neighbors, Mycopia Gourmet Mushroom. Join us as Mycopia, local pioneers in specialty mushrooms, returns to host an intriguing mushroom seminar at 2pm on Saturday September 28th in our cellar. Learn about foraging, different varieties of fungi, and how mushrooms promote sustainability. Delicious, savory Mycopia mushroom bread pudding will also be served as part of the experience.

38th Annual Taste of the Town

The Connoisseurs’ Circle Gala dinner and live auction kicks off the two day of events on Friday evening at Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort. Guest dine on a 4-course gourmet meal created by Culinary Honoree Executive Chef Mossin Sugich, Hilton SB Beachfront Resort, and paired with premier wines provided by Vintner of the Year Courtney Foley, The Foley Food and Wine Society. On Sunday, guest enjoy tastes provided by some of the areas best food, wine and spirits providers. Over 70 vendors are expected to participate. Each guest receives a complimentary wine glass to take home.

Live Music at Carr Winery with Stacked

Kick off the weekend with wines by the glass, empanadas and a little rock n’ roll. Stacked is a Santa Barbara-based rock band created by musicians seeking to play the music they would like to hear in the live music venues they frequent. Only covering cool songs from the 60s to the present, Stacked will make you want to sing and groove along to their music. A Harvest Blessing at Lucas & Lewellen Vineyards

Wine fans are invited to join us at the start of harvest for our traditional “Blessing of the Grapes” service. This centuries-old ceremony, practiced by many religions and cultures throughout the ages, honors the vineyards, the grapes, and the hard work of the people who make the annual wine grape harvest a reality. Father John Finley will say a prayer of thanksgiving and ask for a blessing upon the hands that grow and make the wine. After the blessing, we will eat, drink, and make merry with barrel and tank sampling, a wine swirling contest, live music, production tours, and general harvest reverie.

The Lucas & Lewellen Vineyard Tour

Join us for our 15th annual Wine Club Tour of the expansive Lucas & Lewellen Vineyards. Guests meet at L&L for light hors d’oeuvres and wine tasting before shuttling through the Valley View, Goodchild, and Los Alamos Vineyards while our informative hosts entertain, educate, and pour wines from each featured vineyard. Jule Fest Christmas Open House at Lucas & Lewellen Vineyards

As the magical village of Solvang celebrates Christmas Danish-style, Lucas & Lewellen will host a special tasting of Christmas wines paired to beautiful Christmas cheese selections with a special chocolate tasting. Enjoy the music of local carolers, a hot chocolate bar, pricing specials to help with your Christmas list, Christmas music, and the unforgettable Solvang JuleFest, subject of Time Magazine’s “Most Christmas-ey Town in the U.S.” Folks will take in the season at the small town Christmas ceremony on Friday, December 6th at 5 pm with Christmas music, dancing ballerinas, and Santa visits. Lucas & Lewellen will once again be celebrating Valentines Day with their wine family, this year with a Sparkling Wine reception and Valentines Winemaker Dinner at the romantic Alisal River Grill. Royce Lewellen and Louis Lucas, who will be accompanied by their lovely Valentines, will share the background story on featured wines throughout the dinner showcasing impressive culinary pairings.

Madera Wine Trail’s California Wine Month Celebration

In honor of the statewide celebration of California Wine Month, guests of the public, media, wine, food and travel industries are invited to visit Toca Madera Winery in Madera to enjoy wine tasting from local wineries, appetizers provided by fine local restaurants, caterers and live music. Friday, July 12, D.on Darox & the Melody Joy Bakers debut at Carr Winery! The Melody Joy Bakers are a 7-piece brain child of the nomadic, multi-instrumentalist, and growling frontman D.on Darox. The band is based out of Southern California, and their sound combines roots, jazz, and American blues music with Latin rhythms. D.on Darox & the Melody Joy Bakers have performed on many stages and streets across the United States. They have won over the hearts of broad audiences ranging from the young, the aged, and those lost and inebriated somewhere in between. Their high energy shows, along with their signature sound, have been called everything from swamp jazz to dirty blues. Free admission, 21+.

Trefethen’s Harvest Bootcamp

Join us for our annual hands-on harvest experience. Start the morning with an in-depth vineyard tour and the opportunity to try your hand at picking grapes. Follow the freshly harvested grapes to the winery and learn about our winemaking practices as the grapes start the journey to becoming wine. Sample future vintages before they have even been bottled. Includes an al fresco lunch with Trefethen wines under the canopy of the ancient walnut tree in Katie’s Acre.
