Taste of the Mountains Menlo Park
The Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers Association presents the Taste of the Mountains Wine Walk on Saturday, December 7 in Downtown Menlo Park from 1-4:30pm. All ticket proceeds from the event will benefit the Menlo Park Atherton Education Foundation. Enjoy wines from small, local boutique wineries of the Santa Cruz Mountains poured in various designated tasting locations up and down Santa Cruz Avenue. Check in for your wristband, glass, and a map of the pouring locations – then enjoy an afternoon of tasting and discovering. Purchase your favorites from the bottle booth and stay downtown for a dinner or movie to follow!
Live Music at Carr Winery with the Alastair Greene Duo
Catch the Alastair Greene Duo on the Carr Winery patio this Friday evening! Enjoy Carr wines and empanadas from Buena Onda. Guitarist, singer, and songwriter Alastair Greene has been a mainstay of the Southern California music scene for close to three decades. He has released eight solo albums (including two live recordings and a compilation record), the most recent of which is “LIVE FROM THE 805.” The album was nominated for Rock Blues Album of the Year by Blues Blast Magazine in addition to being included on many “Best of 2018” year-end lists by multiple publications. Free admission, 21 and over.

Anderson Valley’s newest restaurant, the soon to be open Uneda Eat, will serve a dinner of local pork from their mobile wood fired oven on the Handley Cellars crushpad. Join proprietors Lulu and Scott, winemaker Randy, and more of the Handley Cellars family as we welcome in the 2019 vintage and enjoy the fruits of vintages past! Dinner will be paired with Handley wines, including a new release and your favorite single vineyard Pinots.
