Sparkling Wine Release Party – Sunday Brunch

We are releasing our three new sparkling wines on September 12, 2021 to pair with a Sunday brunch! We will have a delicious buffet catered by Eat it Up and guests will get to try all three sparkling wines and will receive a complimentary glass of their favorite included with their ticket.

JUSTIN Annual Harvest Dinner

To celebrate the kick off of the 2021 harvest season, The Restaurant at JUSTIN Executive Chef Rachel Haggstrom will prepare a five-course wine paired dinner, inspired by the autumnal season. This special evening will showcase the best of the Central Coast, featuring ingredients sourced from JUSTIN’s onsite chef’s garden, as well as artisanal cuisine from various local purveyors. Members from JUSTIN’s Vineyard & Farm teams, as well as Wine Educator and Sommelier Jim Gerakaris will host the evening and share stories and insights on this upcoming harvest season. Celebrate Wine Month

Join the winemaker and grower at their family-owned vineyard in Moraga, Participants will learn how a healthy vineyard is developed, and handcrafted wine processed using green, sustainable practices and expand on the newly recognized Lamorinda American viticulture area (AVA). Vicki Andersen Artist Reception and Exhibit at Flying Goat Cellars

All are invited to a reception for artist Vicki Andersen. Toast Andersen with a glass of wine and purchase her original artwork or giclees. Her acrylic painting “Sunflower Vintage,” which was used for the 2011 Santa Barbara Vintners Festival poster, and other wine related paintings will be featured at the Flying Goat tasting room through the end of September. Andersen has been painting since her 16th birthday when she was given a set of oils and an easel by her “not yet Step-Father.” That eventually led to earning a degree in Illustration at CalState Long Beach. She has always loved color but her style has become much looser over the years. Most of her current work leans toward the impressionist/post-impressionist style. Great wines begin in the vineyard and you’ll get an insider’s view as we explore our vineyards while tasting our iconic wines where the grapes grow. We’ll pass by our working winery, the original 1868 Alexander Valley school and the Alexander homestead. This is the ultimate way to experience the history, tradition, and excellence of Alexander Valley Vineyards. This is an easy walking tour, but there are hills and dirt trails. Hands on Harvest

Get an inside look at harvest at Fenton Herriott Vineyards. We are an estate grown and produced winery. This means that we have the privilege of having every step of winemaking at the same location. From the vines, to the tasting room, Fenton Herriott has an insider look at grape growing and winemaking. Get a tour every hour between 12pm-4pm this weekend and see the process up close and personal. Participants Will start in the pavilion and taste along with us as we show off our vineyards and see the process of production before the wine makes it into the tasting room!

Vine to Wine

Our Vine to Wine event is an afternoon of tasting great local wines from over two dozen Santa Clara Valley wineries, enjoying small bite tastings from over a dozen artisanal restaurants and caterers + you’ll enjoy the sounds of the Lavender Fields Band. The event space, located in the vibrant downtown area of Morgan Hill is housed within the open structural frame of a future boutique hotel. This popular outdoor concept is known as MO|HI Social. In addition, we’ll have additional outdoor space available. Your attendance supports the Wineries of Santa Clara Valley, Our mission is to raise funds to provide scholarships and grants to graduation high school seniors planning to major in Viticultural or Enology. Funding is also used for operations and to market the Santa Clara Valley AVA and our wineries.

South Coast Winery Grape Stomps

South Coast Winery Grape Stomps are composed of two-person teams. The winner of each of these friendly competitions receives a bottle of the special 20th Anniversary Blend. Stomps take place at 2 pm and 4:30 pm. Tickets start at $168 and include a wine flight for each person that matches his/her preferences (choice of three flights) and a case of wine per two participants as part of the ticket price. Cases can be mixed and matched. Guests reserve their spot by purchasing a timeslot on the online store. The non-refundable deposit is $50 and counts for a team of two people. Passport Sunday

Just in time for the upcoming harvest season, the 2021 Passport Sunday celebration will be from 11 am to 4 pm Aug. 8. Hosted by the Suisun Valley Vintners and Growers Association, eight venues with 12 different wineries will be participating, offering the best of their wine and specialty products to visitors.
